The diversity of outdoor and indoor venues allow you to design a variety of different events, aided by a flexible owner/host. As one guest summed it up: “You can make it anything you want it to be.”
Artfully restored historic architecture and masonry are set atop manicured grass lawns provide an elegant venue, while hundreds of acres of New England nature allow for the ideal rustic wedding backdrop. During peak weekends in autumn, the hills blaze with hues of fall foliage.
An Authentic & Historic Venue
250 Acres, Exclusively Yours
Lakefalls is exclusively for you and your guests for the length of your event. Being a private and secluded family estate, you may schedule your own curfew (or none at all), stock your own bar, choose whatever type of catering you want, and even allow us to arrange a most memorable fireworks show. All of this includes use of Lakefalls’ 250 acres for hiking, canoeing, swimming, and other outdoor activities for your guests.
Our outdoor venues can accommodate celebrations of upwards of 300 people. You have the ability to choose the ideal venues for your ideal event. The historic Great Room of the Lodge is perfect for a rehearsal dinner. A ceremony can be held within or in front of the castle-like Walled Garden and cocktail hour enjoyed by the beautiful and soothing Waterfall. The newly renovated Barn at Lakefalls provides a stunning year-round setting for a variety of indoor gatherings – up to 200 guests for a welcome party or 150 for a reception dinner.

Plan Without Constraints
Other events, such as a games day, a welcome barbecue after-party, a farewell brunch, and more can be arranged for your wedding weekend. Unlike most venues, there are no time constraints the day of the wedding, so you have the freedom to craft your ideal itinerary.
Lakefalls only opens its doors to outside bookings for a few select weekends a year. Because of this, most guests opt for spending the full weekend at the estate (Friday through Sunday). Our six onsite guest houses can comfortably accommodate 32+ guests and the nearby town of Keene offers plentiful accommodations. The estate is also open to 1-day celebrations during select time periods.
