Take advantage of the spacious grounds

With plentiful indoor and outdoor venues, Lakefalls gives you the space and flexibility to make your ideal event a reality. These venues occupy a secluded portion of the sprawling 250 acre private estate. Each venue boasts original architectural features and enhanced landscape design. Whether it’s an intimate gathering or a large event, bring together your family and loved ones to celebrate and rejoice. 

The Barn at Lakefalls is the newest addition to the Lakefalls estate.  The stunning architecture replicates the intricate trusses from Lakefalls Lodge which eliminate the need for support columns, allowing some 2,000 sq. feet of open floor space.  Designed with events in mind, the Barn has a catering kitchen, built-in bar, DJ station with sound system, three bathrooms and a 500 sq. ft. balcony/deck with a large fire pit. The deck overlooks Woods Mill Pond and its striking waterfall.  With radiant heat throughout, the Barn provides the perfect setting for seated receptions of up to 125 or cocktails for up to 200 standing guests year-round. The Barn is two stories and includes a handicapped-accessible ramp.

Walled Garden

This stately stone wall structure, complete with viewing turrets, is our largest outdoor venue, accommodating a tent and seating for up to 350 people. Enter the Walled Garden through its romantic stone archway. The venue was originally a rose garden dating back almost a century, with the bulk of the masonry being original. It is a waterfront space, overlooking both the pond and the Lodge. It is a popular venue for ceremonies, photos, and welcome party BBQs, as well as a spot to greet your guests from the top of the viewing terrace.

Lodge Great Room

The Great Room embodies the cozy and rustic lodge experience, complete with a fireplace, couches, and comfortable seating for spending time together. A wall of windows overlooks the mirror-like lake that lends its name to Lakefalls, as well as the fiery New England foliage in the fall. Enjoy family-style dinners at the long table that stretches across the room, followed by conversations in front of the huge fireplace while making s’mores. You are welcome to spill out to the Lodge Lawn outside for lunch or cocktails. The Great Room at Lakefalls Lodge is perfect for ceremonies and cocktails for up to 99 guests and seated dinners for 50.

Lodge Lawn

The Lodge Lawn is a manicured grass lawn overlooking the water. It can accommodate a tent for up to 250 guests for dining or up to 300 for cocktails or an open-air ceremony in front of the iconic stone steps of the Lodge.

Waterfall

The Waterfall at Lakefalls is an iconic feature on the property, as well as being the first landmark visible upon entering the estate. It is our most popular area for open-air ceremonies, providing a beautiful and dynamic backdrop, and can accommodate 300+.  A tent for 100-150 can also be erected in this area.

Chandler Meadow

Chandler Meadow is ideal for smaller outdoor events, accommodating up to 150 guests for open-air events and or a tent for 100 guests. We recommend this site for rehearsal dinners, cocktails or your ceremony.

Woods Mill Homestead 

Set up against the backdrop of the Lakefalls Waterfall, the Woods Mill Homestead consists of a beautiful lawn overlooking Otter Brook, the stone bridge, and former power house. The homestead can accommodate a main tent for up to 200, plus smaller tents for catering and/or a children’s tent.
